Smaller pools, less living space – Mallorca introduces new construction regulations for fincas

Spring 2020 – Mallorca's economy suffers massively from the effects of the Corona Pandemic. At the end of May came the desired, positive signal from Madrid – at the latest from the 1st July foreign tourists can enter the country once again. Hoteliers, restaurant and bar-owners can breathe a sigh of relief, at last light at the end of the tunnel. Corona crisis – Impact of COVID 19 pandemic on the real estate business in Mallorca

As part of the global response to the COVID19 pandemic the Spanish government has issued a Royal Decree imposing a national curfew from 15th March 2020. Since 17th March 2020 it is no longer possible to enter the Balearic Islands as a tourist. On 23th March 2020 the national curfew has been prolongated to 12th April 2020.
